  Auburn University Clinical Health Services (CHS) is offering a new, rural-focused PGY-1 Pharmacy Residency to prepare pharmacists to be competent, independent practitioners who can provide high-quality patient care in rural settings. As part of the Auburn University Harrison College of Pharmacy (HCOP), this program trains residents to deliver patient care in diverse settings and tackle pharmacy practice challenges in populations with barriers to receipt of primary care services. Residents gain expertise in clinical service development and delivery, pharmacy practice management, community care, collaborative practice, and service expansion.
