The Residency in Pharmacy Practice at Mercy Medical Center Redding is a twelve-month experiential learning process designed to give the resident comprehensive training in providing pharmaceutical care in an integrated health system. Mercy Medical Center provides a learning experience that blends core rotations with longitudinal rotations. Six-seven week core rotations provide the resident a learning experience that integrates multiple services within a single core. By blending the core rotation experience with a longitudinal rotation, this structure offers a realistic learning opportunity that teaches time management skills.

Completed or working towards a Doctor of Pharmacy degree from a United States of America-accredited college of pharmacy

About Dignity Health Mercy Medical Center Redding PGY-1
Mercy Medical center is a 267-bed Level II Trauma, acute care hospital serving a culturally diverse patient population. Our medical center is community based and is a local center for cardiac procedures, regional cancer services, and contains a Level Ill NICU. We are affiliated with multiple training programs and serve as a training site for pharmacy IPPE/ APPE students, nursing students, and two family medicine residency programs to list a few.
