Parkview offers a 12-month American Society of Health-System Pharmacists-accredited PGY2 ambulatory care residency for two residency candidates.
Parkview’s PGY2 ambulatory care residency is designed to develop the resident into an independent, competent, confident and compassionate practitioner with the ability to provide excellent patient care in the ambulatory setting. This resident will develop a core skill set in comprehensive medication management, patient interaction, communication, practice management, team building and time management. The program will assist residents in developing their precepting skills and will integrate precepting into various learning experiences.

Parkview Health conducts pharmacy resident recruitment, application and selection in accordance with the ASHP Accreditation Standard for Postgraduate Pharmacy Residency Programs.
Applications due Monday, January 5, 2026.
All residency candidates must register for the Matching Program and have a National Matching Services (NMS) applicant number.
Candidates must use the Pharmacy Online Residency Centralized Application Service (PhORCAS) to submit applications; includes transcript, CV, letter of intent, and exactly 3 letters of recommendation.
Candidates will be contacted regarding selection for interviews in mid to late January based on each residency program’s process and selection criteria, in accordance with ASHP Standards.
PGY2 pharmacy residency positions may be filled internally through the Early Commit process.
Resident must be a licensed pharmacist by September 30th
