Residency Showcase Program Listings

The PGY2 Critical Care Residency Program is a twelve-month program located at the University of Minnesota Medical Center and University of Minnesota Masonic Children’s Hospital. This program prepares the resident to become a critical care clinical pharmacist through an array of advanced critical care-focused core and elective rotations.

At the University of Minnesota Medical Center and University of Minnesota Masonic Children's Hospital, we balance the latest in technology and treatments with patient-centered care. We provide care for a broad spectrum of critical care, ranging from MICU, SICU, Neuro ICU, CVICU to advanced therapies in cardiac services, solid organ transplantation and bone marrow transplantation. We also offer unique experiences in pediatric and neonatal intensive care if interested.  As the core teaching hospital of the University of Minnesota Medical School and College of Pharmacy, our hospital is among the most respected in the nation, providing superior health care results. This program will provide development in clinical and problem solving skills as well as communication, leadership, and teaching in critical care.
