The PGY1 residency program at Northern Light Eastern Maine Medical Center offers pharmacy residents a personalized, tertiary care experience in a rural setting. As a 411-bed hospital, we are the second largest hospital in the state of Maine. Northern Light is a ten-hospital system and as such, our residency offers a variety of rotations by preceptors trained in both the ambulatory-care and hospital-based settings. Core rotations range from transitions of care to psychology, medication safety and more. Our program offers 2 PGY1 positions and we work closely with each resident to get to know them and help them to achieve their professional career goals.
Applicants must apply by January 2nd. An official transcript, curriculum vitae, letter of intent, and 3 letters of recommendation are required. Candidates must be eligible for licensure in the state of Maine and are expected to be licensed by September of the residency year.
