Residency Showcase Program Listings

The ACME Pharmacy Community-based Residency Program is based in southeastern Pennsylvania, close to Philadelphia, home to museums, parks, national historic sites, sports, and famous food. Our ACME pharmacists can furnish and administer a growing list of medications, routine and travel immunizations, as well as perform medication therapy management services, and health screenings. They work as members of the healthcare team to manage patient disease states.

Each resident is assigned a home-base community pharmacy site where they will spend approximately 40% of their time. Both the Media, PA and Bala Cynwyd, PA community sites have a dedicated team of experienced preceptors to mentor the resident through the year. Leadership and management learning experiences take place at the division office in Malvern and various sites throughout the division. Residents will be able to work with Division Pharmacy Managers and the Director of Pharmacy Operations who provide robust leadership experience.

Our advanced community-based patient care learning experiences are supplemented with ambulatory care-based patient care at clinics affiliated with each of our academic partners: Temple University and the St. Joseph's University. Our residents also participate in teaching certificate programs at their affiliated university.

Our multi-state pharmacy residency program offers opportunities to learn from preceptors with advanced credentialing. Learning experiences are customized to focus on resident interest and career goals. Additionally, our residents collaborate with other community residency teams to hone their research skills and develop their research projects. Our residents are leaders in the provision of vast patient care services, which include HIV Centers of Excellence, medication administration, point-of-care testing, travel health services, pharmacogenomic services, and many more! 

Pharm.D. degree and initial licensure in Pennsylvania required. Dual licensure will be expected, secondary practice state will be identified in candidate offer letter after the match process. Official academic transcript, CV, letter of intent, and three letters of recommendation submitted to PhORCAS.
