The resident will undergo comprehensive PGY1 health systems training, completing their PGY1 Pharmacy residency at UC Davis Medical Center, followed by a PGY2 in Corporate Pharmacy Administration and Leadership (CPAL) with Cencora (formerly AmerisourceBergen). The PGY2 year will be completed remotely while being physically located at the PGY1 health system. PGY1 UC Davis Medical Center -&#xa0; &#xa0; This one-year postgraduate pharmacy practice residency is perfect for motivated pharmacy graduates seeking to enhance and refine their clinical expertise. The program is designed to be both rigorous and adaptable, offering a tailored experience that aligns with each resident&#39;s previous education, clinical experience, and long-term professional aspirations. Throughout the program, residents will engage in a wide array of rotations across various practice settings and clinical specialty areas, such as internal medicine, critical care, oncology, infectious diseases, and more.  The emergency department has over 25 medical attendings, five nurse practitioners and three pharmacist attendings along with medical residents who rotate through the program.  This specialized  residency  will train the resident to practice independently as an emergency medicine pharmacist specialist in a variety of practice settings such as adult emergency medicine, community emergency medicine, medical ICU, surgical ICU, and infectious disease along with a variety of elective rotations. The resident will precept students and PGY1 residents on emergency medicine rotations. 								<description>Visalia, California,  Kaweah Health PGY2 ambulatory care pharmacy residency program offers an ASHP-accredited PGY2 program for 1 resident located in Visalia, CA.&#xa0; Kaweah Health (KH) is an integrated health care delivery system anchored around a 480-bed community-based teaching hospital. With a compliment of ancillary services and ambulatory clinics, KH provides a broad array of primary and specialty care to a largely rural and medically underserved community. The Outpatient Pharmacy Department provides services to the community through our retail and home infusion pharmacies, as well as via ambulatory care pharmacists located in all seven of our primary care clinics. 
 Clinical pharmacists practicing in our outpatient clinics work in innovative, team-based models as credentialed members of the KH Medical Staff providing pharmaceutical care in the areas of rural health, family medicine, advanced chronic disease, and pain management. Our preceptor team has a diversity of post-graduate experiences including in ambulatory care, family medicine, pain, geriatric health, and nephrology. Patient care pharmacy technicians support our ambulatory care pharmacist. Residency Learning Experiences: 
 The resident will receive a three-week orientation before moving onto direct patient care rotations. Patient care rotations are block rotations and occur three days per week. One-half day per week the resident with be staffing and one-half day per week is dedicated administrative time for the resident. One day per week will be spent in the Pain or Specialty rotation &#8211; each designed to be longitudinal to ensure residents experience managing these medication regiments over a longer period of time.&#xa0; Elective options include endocrinology, cardiology, renal, pediatrics, infectious disease, and advanced leadership. A research project with publication-quality manuscript, quality improvement project, and several presentations &#8211; didactic lectures to family medicine residents, participate in Pharm.D. education with a partner school of pharmacy, and dissemination of research results &#8211; are all requirements for graduation.&#xa0; &#xa0;

The PGY2 year will be completed remotely while being physically located at the PGY1 health system. The PGY1 residency program at Henry Ford Hospital will develop the resident into a well-rounded practitioner. Henry Ford Hospital is an 807 bed, tertiary care, teaching hospital and is part of the Henry Ford Health. The PGY1 at Henry Ford is part of a large training program (20 residents/year, 1 fellow/year) offering a variety of rotation options. The PGY2 Corporate Pharmacy Administration and Leadership (CPAL) residency at Cencora is designed to build upon the resident&#8217;s patient-centered care and operational experiences. It prepares residents to assume high-level managerial, supervisory, and leadership roles in the corporate sector, with a specialized focus on supply chain management. During the PGY2-year, residents will acquire in-depth knowledge and engage in essential supply chain activities pivotal to pharmacy practice.  Active Maryland Pharmacy licensure OR license should be obtained no later than 90 days from the start date of the position. 
 Enrolled with the National Matching Services&#8217; Resident Matching Program (RMP) and adhere to the rules of the RMP process.
