 Harry S. Truman Memorial Veterans&#8217; Hospital is a level 1c facility with 117 inpatient operating beds. Staff provide a full continuum of both inpatient and outpatient services, and are committed to excellent patient care, education, and research. The facility offers comprehensive care to include primary care, medical and surgical specialties, behavioral health, physical and occupational therapy, pharmacy services, and more. Additionally, Truman VA is a referral center for heart care services to include open heart surgery. 
 Truman VA maintains strong affiliations with the University of Missouri&#8217;s School of Medicine, the MU Sinclair School of Nursing, the MU School of Health Professions, and other health-related programs. Truman VA provides training opportunities for approximately 900 students each year. 
 Pharmacy Service employs 53 pharmacists, to include 21 clinical pharmacist practitioners. 
 The PGY1 Pharmacy Residency is ASHP-accredited. 
 The PGY1 residency program builds upon Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) education and outcomes to develop pharmacist practitioners with knowledge, skills, and abilities as defined in the educational competency areas, goals, and objectives.  Cencora and Children&#39;s Hospital of Philadelphia are excited to offer this Combined PGY1 Pharmacy &#38; PGY2 Corporate Pharmacy Administration and Leadership (CPAL) with Masters residency. This innovative program has been  strategically crafted to prepare residents for success as a future pharmacy leader in corporate pharmacy, specializing in pharmacy supply chain management. The resident will undergo comprehensive PGY1 health systems training, completing their PGY1 Pharmacy residency at Children&#39;s Hospital of Philadelphia, followed by a PGY2 in Corporate Pharmacy Administration and Leadership (CPAL) with Cencora (formerly AmerisourceBergen). The PGY2 year will be completed remotely while being physically located at the PGY1 health system. The PGY1 residency program at Children&#39;s Hospital of Philadelphia &#xa0;provides a one-year, in-depth training experience in the provision of full-spectrum integrated pharmacy services in pediatrics. Residents will work in a progressive environment building a solid foundation in skills including drug information, pharmacokinetics, general pediatrics, intensive care services and oncology, as well as working with projects in practice advancement. The residents will also gain experience in drug use evaluation, ADR reporting, formulary evaluations and medication error monitoring. The PGY2 Corporate Pharmacy Administration and Leadership (CPAL) residency at Cencora is designed to build upon the resident&#8217;s patient-centered care and operational experiences. It prepares residents to assume high-level managerial, supervisory, and leadership roles in the corporate sector, with a specialized focus on supply chain management. During the PGY2-year, residents will acquire in-depth knowledge and engage in essential supply chain activities pivotal to pharmacy practice. These activities include pharmacy supply chain principles, understanding the stakeholder ecosystem, wholesaler distribution and economics, health system leadership, drug shortage strategies, inventory management, 340B contracting, and medication cost management strategies. The intense focus on direct patient care of this residency develops a specialist of great flexibility in the direct patient care arena, an individual who can move from one specialized area of practice to another with confidence and ease. Graduates will be well prepared for board certification following the completion of this residency program. In addition, pharmacists completing this program will have developed the skills necessary to be practice leaders, conduct research, and effectively educate healthcare trainees. 
 The&#xa0;North Florida/South Georgia Veterans Health System PGY2 pharmacy residency programs build on Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) education and PGY1 pharmacy residency programs to contribute to the development of clinical pharmacists in specialized areas of practice. PGY2 residencies provide residents with opportunities to function independently as practitioners by conceptualizing and integrating accumulated experience and knowledge and incorporating both into the provision of patient care or other advanced practice settings. Residents who successfully complete an accredited PGY2 pharmacy residency are prepared for advanced patient care, academic, or other specialized positions, along with board certification, if available. 
 During the first year, residents will have required learning experiences in orientation (1 month), ambulatory care (6-8 weeks), anticoagulation (4 weeks), long-term care (4 weeks), internal medicine/acute care (6-8 weeks), intensive care unit (6-8 weeks), and pharmacy administration (4 weeks). Additional ambulatory care learning experience may be substituted for the intensive care unit during the PGY1 year. &#xa0; Required rotations during the second year include cardiology (4 weeks), critical care (8 weeks), hematology/oncology (4 weeks), infectious diseases (4 weeks), pain management/palliative care (4 weeks), and mental health/psychiatry (4 weeks). These learning experiences may be completed as elective learning experiences during the PGY1 year, in lieu of or in addition to the PGY2 required rotations.
