The PGY1 Pharmacy Residency creates an environment to promote refined problem-solving strategies, strong professional values and growth through supervised practice under the guidance of model practitioners. Residents will be responsible for acquiring outcome-based competencies for the management and optimization of the medication-use process; providing evidence-based, patient-centered medication therapy management with interdisciplinary teams; and exercising leadership and practice management. Residents will also focus on demonstrating project management skills and utilizing medical informatics.
