USA Health is a level-1 trauma center located in Mobile, AL. It stands as the only academic health system along the upper Gulf Coast. It provides excellent healthcare to the region's diverse population at USA Health University Hospital and the renowned USA Health Children's & Women's hospital, one of only five freestanding hospitals in the country dedicated to the healthcare of children and women.
The PGY-1 Pharmacy Residency Program provides 12 months of thorough training in all aspects of the pharmacy practice. There are options to tailor electives to meet individual goals of practice growth or continued education in a PGY-2 program. Areas of practice include acute medicine, pediatrics, critical care, infectious diseases, and pharmacy administration, with longitudinal experiences in pharmacy practice and ambulatory care. Elective options include emergency medicine, ambulatory care intensive, and pharmacy informatics.
Additionally, this program offers the option to complete a teaching and learning certificate with Auburn University Harrison College of Pharmacy.

Requirements: US citizen, Current enrollment or completion of PharmD degree from an ACPE accredited College of Pharmacy
