PGY1 Community-based Pharmacy Resident
The mission of the Community-Based Pharmacy Residency Program is to provide postgraduate training that enables residents to achieve their professional goals, become a leader within the profession, provide compassionate care for members of their communities, and contribute to the Walgreen Company’s advancement in health care. The residency program is based at a traditional Walgreens pharmacy, as well as a Community Walgreens specialty pharmacy site, in the Oklahoma City metro area. These two settings offer the resident exposure to common chronic disease states and complex therapies for various conditions including HIV, cancer, transplantation, hepatitis C, multiple sclerosis, and chronic inflammatory diseases.
