CommUnityCare PGY2 Amb Care - Affiliated with The University of Texas at Austin College of Pharmacy
CommUnityCare is a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) that provides outpatient primary care in Travis County. The population served includes a combination of managed care, public aid, and under-resourced patients. Other health care workers that the resident interacts with include physicians, specialists, medical residents, dentists, pharmacy staff, behavioral health professionals, dieticians, and social workers. The PGY-2 ASHP accredited Ambulatory Care Residency is a collaboration between The University of Texas at Austin College of Pharmacy and CommUnityCare Health Centers. It is a comprehensive, individualized, post-doctoral clinical pharmacy program designed to provide extensive training in ambulatory care.
