This PGY1 residency program will provide the knowledge, skills and competence required for pharmacy practice within a healthcare-system; including medication-related care of patients in both inpatient and ambulatory settings. Rotational and longitudinal experiences encompass a broad range of pharmaceutical services including internal medicine, critical care, infectious diseases, oncology, pediatrics, emergency medicine, and medical information systems technology. Residents will complete a longitudinal research project employing the reverse research model and obtain a Teaching Certificate through Sullivan College of Pharmacy. Opportunities exist to mentor and educate students through both didactic and practice based teaching. The program builds on Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) education
