PGY1 Pharmacy Residency
The ASHP-accredited PGY1 residency is a 12 month program. Clinical rotations are offered in a wide variety of specialties and are tailored to the individual resident. While on clinical services, the resident’s responsibilities include working with the medical staff through participation in daily rounds, monitoring drug therapy, providing pharmacokinetic recommendations, and attending various meetings. Other responsibilities include completion of a major research project that is presented at the ASHP Midyear Meeting and the regional residency conference, multiple presentations, and assisting with the education of pharmacy students from several colleges of pharmacy.
