Residency Showcase Program Listings

The PGY2 Cardiology Residency program focuses on developing clinical analytical, teaching and leadership skills needed to care for cardiology patients. The program covers various care settings including the intensive care unit, general floor, operating room, procedural areas and ambulatory clinic. The resident will be involved in departmental or organizational committees or initiatives that focus on the care of cardiology patients. Required focused rotations include cardiac critical care x 2, cardiothoracic surgery x 1, advanced heart failure/heart transplant x1, electrophysiology x1, general cardiology x2 and a longitudinal experience in cardiology ambulatory care. Elective rotations allow for exploration of the resident’s clinical interest and include repeating any of the above
