Residency Showcase Program Listings

The world of pharmacy is rapidly changing and our mission is to help our residents become outstanding pharmacists who are working at the forefront of the field. Imagine working in a residency program that gives you the skills to deliver high quality, high value care in an innovative and supportive environment. Our PGY1 pharmacy residency not only helps construct these essential clinical skills for clinical practice, but also serves as a starting point for further specialty residency training if so desired.

ChristianaCare Health System is a large (>1500 bed), two hospital, non-profit, teaching health system with Level 1 shock/trauma and Level 3 neonatal intensive care services. The PGY1 program consists of core rotations in administration, critical care, internal medicine, infectious diseases, and ambulatory care. Residents have the opportunity to round out their residency experience by selecting 3 electives from a list of more than 16 elective options such as hematology/oncology, geriatrics, emergency medicine, heart failure, kidney transplantation, specialty pharmacy, etc. More information can be found at our website.  ChristianaCare.org/PharmacyResidency

Completion of Pharm.D. and eligible for Delaware pharmacist licensure (obtained by September 1st). Candidates should submit three letters of recommendation, curriculum vitae, academic transcript and an essay indicating your desire for residency training at ChristianaCare Health System to PhORCAS by January 1st.
