Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center (TTUHSC) Jerry H. Hodge School of Pharmacy offers the ASHP-accredited (PGY1 & PGY2 Combined) PGY1 & PGY2 Pharmacotherapy (24 months) at the following teaching site, Amarillo, Texas. General Description: The 24-month PGY1 & PGY2 Pharmacotherapy Residency conducted by TTUHSC Jerry H. Hodge School of Pharmacy, Amarillo, Texas is accredited by ASHP (until 2026), in partnership with ACCP. The program provides significant depth and scope of knowledge and experience in comprehensive patient care and prepares residents to become Board Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialists. Residents are further guided to develop excellence in one area of practice focus throughout their training experience. The program is unique as it provides many opportunities for residents to tailor experiences as their career goals evolve. Furthermore, the program is nationally recognized for a robust clinician-educator training program designed for individuals with interests in part-time or full-time careers in academia. Residency Programs Website: PGY1 & PGY2 Pharmacotherapy Residency – Amarillo Program representatives will be participating in Midyear Residency Showcase via an external TTUHSC Zoom from 2-5pm (CST) on Monday, December 6. Requirements: Residency applicants must have a Pharm.D. degree from an ACPE-Accredited program and be eligible for licensure in Texas.

The pharmacy residency program is affiliated with Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center (TTUHSC) Jerry H. Hodge School of Pharmacy with residents receiving an appointment as Assistant Clinical Instructors. The residency training programs at TTUHSC School of Pharmacy are designed to produce practitioners who exhibit excellence in the provision of patient care. All residents within the TTUHSC system gain experience in patient care, practice management, education, research, and scholarship.
