The Drug Information Fellowship position at Touro College of Pharmacy in New York is a 12-month program designed to prepare the pharmacy professional interested in drug information or medical information career pathways. The drug information fellow will be based in our academic drug information center, with the opportunity to collaborate on projects with partner organizations. Throughout the program, the fellow will develop into a drug information specialist, acquiring advanced skills in medical information and drug information across various practice settings. The program also includes opportunities for experience in pharmacy education and academia through teaching and precepting student pharmacists at the College. To schedule a PPS interview, interested candidates should submit their curriculum vitae, a letter of intent delineating goals for completing a drug information fellowship program, and a writing sample* to Dr. Anastasiya Shor. *Preferred writing samples include a newsletter article, a Drug Information response, or your contribution to a written class project (if sharing the work does not violate HIPAA or other rules)
You must meet the following requirements to apply for the Drug Information Fellowship: Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an ACPE-accredited College of Pharmacy Licensure or eligibility for licensure to practice pharmacy in the State of New York Individuals who have completed a PGY-1 pharmacy residency or a PGY-2 specialty residency and are interested in pursuing a career in drug information/medical information are highly encouraged to apply Applicants without a PGY-1 residency will be interviewed based on their academic performance/experience
