The pharmacy practice residency program at Antelope Valley Medical Center is designed to develop self-directed community hospital practitioners, prepared to assume an advanced practice as an active member of a comprehensive interdisciplinary healthcare team, partnering to improve the health of the Antelope Valley. Required Rotations
Required Longitudinal Rotations
*All residents will earn a teaching certificate in conjunction with University of the Pacific and APhA Elective Rotations
Residency Project All residents will complete a year-long project based on departmental needs and resident interest. Staffing Requirements Residents will staff a variety of clinical and distributive shifts in the pharmacy department throughout the year. Residents are required to staff one weekend per month.
