The PGY1 Pharmacy Practice Residency Program at M Health Fairview Ridges Hospital in Burnsville, MN is a 12-month program consisting of core and elective learning experiences that are tailored to residents' interests and clinical skills development needs. We have 2 residency positions at Ridges! M Health Fairview Ridges Hospital is a 150-licensed bed medical center providing comprehensive, specialized care to the southern Twin Cities community since 1984. The hospital provides care for the entire family, including pediatric emergency care and neonatal intensive care. In 2024, we were awarded "Best Hospital Workplace in Minnesota" by the Minnesota Hospital Association, for the 2nd year in a row! The PGY1 Pharmacy Residency Program consists of direct patient care learning experiences in Internal Medicine, Critical Care, Emergency Medicine, Orthopedic & Spine Surgery, Pediatrics & NICU, Antimicrobial Stewardship, Diabetes Management, and Transitions of Care. The program also focuses on the development of leadership and teaching skills. A publishable residency research project will be designed and completed by the resident.
