Our ASHP accredited PGY2 pharmacy residency programs build on Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) education and PGY1 pharmacy residency programs to contribute to the development of clinical pharmacists in specialized areas of practice. This is a 12-month program which can be tailored to the background and interests of the individual resident. Pharmacy resident will work closely with Southern New Mexico Family Medicine Residents and ED Fellows during the emergency medicine and inpatient experiences. Opportunity to provide comprehensive emergency care

199-bed acute care facility with an outpatient cancer center, family medicine clinic, a 24-hour Emergency Department, and a 32-bed Intensive Care Unit.
Serves ~300,000 residents of Las Cruces, Dona Ana County and surrounding region.
