Residency Special Features: Required experiences include adult medicine, family medicine, emergency medicine, critical care, ambulatory medicine, cardiology, and institutional pharmacy practice, in addition, all residents will complete a research project and present that research at a meeting. Elective options include, but are not limited to, cardiology, HIV medicine, and infectious disease. Residents function as clinical pharmacists at OSU Medical Center and affiliated OSU Physicians practice sites. Site Special Features: Opened in 1944 as Oklahoma Osteopathic Hospital, OSUMC has grown to become the largest acute care osteopathic teaching hospital in the nation. Our hospital serves as a teaching center for 150 medical residents and helps to train a variety of healthcare professionals in a variety of different specialties. Our pharmacy program prides itself in providing a strong foundation in general medicine, teaching opportunities, and in our unique service opportunities in HIV management.

Oklahoma State University Medical Center currently is the nation's largest osteopathic teaching facility with 11 residency programs and 9 fellowship programs. It also hosts 2 PGY-1 pharmacy residents and 1 PGY-2 pharmacy resident in internal medicine.
