Sky Lakes Medical Center currently offers an ASHP accredited PGY1 pharmacy residency program. We are looking for motivated applicants who are devoted to their efforts of becoming exemplary practitioners. Residents will get the opportunity to work as part of an interdisciplinary team to provide the patients in the community with evidence-based care. Residents will have many opportunities to learn and grow in a variety of care areas throughout the year, developing clinical confidence and leadership skills. The Sky Lakes PGY1 pharmacy residency program offers a unique learning structure, where all rotations are completed longitudinally. Each rotation will be completed at different points throughout the year, allowing residents to re-visit rotations multiple times and build upon the skills gained on other rotations. Residents will have the opportunity to build a foundation in clinical pharmacy practice that will carry forward to the remainder of their career. Learning Experiences:
Length: 53 weeks Positions: 2 residents Application Due Date: January 2nd Application Method: PhORCAS Note: Applicant must have three Letters of Reference Forms within PhORCAS Start Date: Middle of June Approximate Stipend: $56,500 Staffing: Every other weekend Benefits: Medical, dental, vision, life, disability insurance, meeting fees for Northwestern States Regional Conference, Oregon Society of Healthy System Pharmacists Fall and Annual Conferences and ASHP Midyear.

Sky Lakes serves more than 80,000 people in the Klamath and Lake counties in south-central Oregon, and Modoc and Siskiyou counties in northern California. As a 176 bed medical center, Sky Lakes is located in the rural community of Klamath Falls, Oregon, and strives to promote wellness in the community. The pharmacy department provides many services to the hospital and the community, including inpatient, ambulatory care, and outpatient pharmacy services.
