Sanford Health Imagenetics offers one Post Graduate Year Two (PGY2) pharmacy residency position in Clinical Pharmacogenomics (PGx). The program is a 12-month commitment. Our program offers a variety of experiences in diverse areas with guidance from a team of preceptors, many of which are residency trained and board certified. Residents are mentored throughout the year and grow personally and professionally. This residency is accredited by ASHP. Following the orientation learning experience, residency learning experiences are typically longitudinal and built upon the three pillars of Imagenetics: Clinical Care, Education, and Research, in addition to experiences with clinical decision support, administration and leadership. Elective opportunities are also available including but not limited to Oncology, Neurocritical care, and Laboratory Genetics and Genomics. The resident will actively contribute to the Imagenetics interdisciplinary team and Sanford’s team of primary care and specialty providers. Sanford Imagenetics has an internal lab and has processed over 30,000 clinical PGx results and counting.
