The PGY2 Population Health Management and Data Analytics Residency Program through the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) College of Pharmacy trains the resident to integrate health information, evidence-based medicine (EBM), outcomes measurement, and data analytics to inform decisions for population health management. The resident gains experience creating, implementing, and optimizing population health initiatives with our evidence-based prescription drug program (EBRx), the UAMS Medical Center, and Health Plan PBM. Involvement in quality improvement and multiple projects is expected. The resident will teach in EBM and U.S. Healthsystems in the pharmacy curriculum. Upon successful completion of the program, residents are awarded a Residency Certificate. Required Rotations
Applicants must possess a degree in pharmacy from an American Council on Pharmaceutical Education (ACPE) accredited college. The applicant must have completed or in process of completing an ASHP-accredited PGY1 residency. The Applicant must be eligible for licensure in the state of Arkansas and a member of ASHP.
