Yale-New Haven Hospital (YNHH) is a tertiary care hospital in the Yale-New Haven Health System. YNHH centers of excellence include oncology, pediatrics, orthopedic, cardiology, and women's health. YNHH serves as the primary teaching site for Yale University Schools of Medicine and Nursing. New Haven is located on the shoreline of Connecticut (Long Island Sound), a two hour drive from New York City and Boston.

Yale-New Haven Hospital (YNHH), in conjunction with the Yale-New Haven Transplantation Center (YNHTC), offers a one-year specialty residency in solid organ transplantation. YNHTC specializes in kidney, liver, pancreas, and heart transplantation for adult and pediatric populations. Opportunity exists for the resident to work collaboratively with transplant surgeons, specialty physicians, nurses, and clinical pharmacists in this specialty area. Teaching opportunities include clinical teaching of PharmD students and PGY-1 residents, as well as didactic lectures. Multiple elective opportunities allow the resident to tailor their interests and career goals.
