Dignity Health - St. Rose Dominican (SRD) is a not-for-profit, faith based system of community hospitals (Rose de Lima Campus, San Martín Campus and Siena Campus) that have served the southern Nevada community since 1947. St. Rose Dominican Hospital is part of CommonSpirit Health which has over 1,000 care sites in 21 states. St. Rose Dominican Hospital’s Siena Campus is comprised of 326 acute care beds, and services provided range from cardiac and cancer care to obstetrics and neonatology (Level III NICU). We are also a Joint Commission Certified Stroke Center and we are the first hospital in the state of Nevada to receive accreditation as a Center of Excellence in Robotic Surgery.  The pharmacy department provides comprehensive, patient-focused services to all of our patients.

Our PGY-1 residency program will give you the opportunity to grow and learn in

a state-of-the-art facility. The program offers a variety of rotations and a diverse

patient population. Additionally, our program is affiliated with Roseman University

of Health Sciences, College of Pharmacy, which offers the Teaching Certificate.

The residency program provides the didactic and clinical experiences needed to

create a well-rounded, competent pharmacy practitioner. During each rotation,

you will work closely with your preceptor, highly qualified pharmacists, physicians,

and other allied health care professionals.

If you would like to join our team, the following items are required:

• Completed application submitted using the Pharmacy Online Residency Centralized Application Service (PhORCAS)
• A graduate of an Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education accredited program
• Curriculum vitae (CV)
• Letter of intent describing the goals and interests for pursing a residency program
• Three (3) letters of recommendation (at least one letter must be from a preceptor of a clinical rotation)
• Official copy of college of pharmacy transcript
