Archbold is a regional healthcare system located in Thomasville, Georgia. Currently 3 positions are available, and residents will be able to participate in a large selection of clinical rotations and learning experiences. During this one-year training program the residents will deepen their clinical and leadership skills while becoming competent in medication entry. During the weekday they will spend time with our preceptors in various specialty areas such as critical care, internal medicine, emergency medicine, infectious disease, oncology, and ambulatory care. Each resident provides education for their medical team and the nursing staff on their assigned rotation. On top of their clinical rotations the residents will be responsible for developing and completing a longitudinal research project and participating in administrative functions such as antimicrobial stewardship, and Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee.
