Residency Showcase Program Listings

Our ASHP-accredited PGY1 pharmacy residency program develops licensed pharmacists into clinical specialists responsible for improving patient care. We aim to develop each resident’s interest and customize the residency year to meet individual needs.

PGY1 pharmacy residents provide direct patient care through activities including pharmacokinetic consults, formulary management, patient and health care provider education, and a longitudinal research project.

• Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) accredited degree program.
• Licensed or eligible to apply for a license to practice pharmacy in the state of South Carolina.
• Participation in the ASHP Residency Matching Program.
• Completed application submitted in PhORCAS on or before deadline January 2, 2026.
• Curriculum Vitae (CV)
• Three standard recommendation forms
• Official transcripts from college of pharmacy
• Letter of intent that address the following:
  - Areas of interest in pharmacy practice
  - Short term (2-5 year) and long term (5-10 year) goals
  - Strengths and areas of improvement
  - What you hope to gain through residency training at Lexington Health
