Advance your pharmacy career with the Manchester VA Healthcare System PGY1 Residency Program! As a candidate status program, our second resident has an opportunity to continue to shape the foundation of our program while progressing through the ASHP accreditation process. Join a residency program designed to develop top-tier clinical pharmacists ready to lead in patient care, practice management, leadership, and education in any pharmacy practice setting. At VA Manchester, we offer a tailored and enriching post-graduate experience that prepares residents to practice as independent pharmacist providers, pursue board certification, and/or enter a PGY2 residency or other advanced training program. You will gain hands-on experience in comprehensive medication management, working alongside pharmacist preceptors with prescriptive authority and scopes of practice, ensuring a high level of autonomy and clinical impact. With our patient-centered focus, you will work directly with veterans to optimize medication therapy and improve health outcomes. Our program provides diverse learning opportunities and allows for a tailored residency experience to align with your career goals and clinical interests.
