Lawrence + Memorial Hospital (LMH) is an acute care hospital affiliated with Yale New Haven Health and has been serving New London and southeastern Connecticut since 1912. Located on the shoreline, it is two hours away by vehicle or train from New York City and Boston. Other sites under LMH include Smilow Cancer Hospital, Waterford, CT, Pequot Health Center, Groton, CT, and Westerly Hospital (125 beds), Westerly, RI.

Core rotations include critical care, internal medicine, pediatrics, infectious diseases, emergency medicine, oncology, psychiatry and ambulatory care.  Elective rotations include cardiology, pain clinic, informatics, sterile products and others at the request of the resident.  Pharmacy residents are involved in numerous teaching and learning opportunities, including didactic lectures, advanced cardiac life support, and a teaching certificate. Residents are engaged in local & health system committees, and high-impact clinical, financial, and operational projects.

Applications are accepted via Phorcas and must include a letter of intent, 3 letters of recommendation, CV, university transcript. Pharm.D. degree or equivalent experience required; hospital work experience preferred; Must be eligible for Connecticut and Rhode Island licensure.
