Oregon State Hospital is a state operated, adult 600+ bed, forensic psychiatric hospital located in Salem, Oregon with a smaller campus 60 miles south in Junction City. We offer one PGY-1 residency to someone strongly interested in psychiatric pharmacy.  A team of seasoned preceptors will mentor the resident through a variety of rotations with focus including but not limited to: clinical pharmacy skills in general medicine (chronic care management, metabolic syndrome, diabetes, asthma, hypertension, neurology and geriatrics) and psychiatric medicine; medication safety, antibiotic stewardship, infection prevention, laboratory ordering, anticoagulation and clozapine management, pharmacy informatics, education/teaching, discharge medication preparation, leadership skills, Pharmacy and Ther
