Piedmont Atlanta PGY1 Pharmacy Residency Program
Piedmont Atlanta prides itself in developing future clinical pharmacists in an enriching and educational environment. This Post-Graduate Year 1 (PGY1) Pharmacy Residency program will build on the Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) education and develop clinical pharmacists who will be: responsible for medication-related care to patients with a wide range of conditions; eligible for board certification; and eligible for postgraduate year two (PGY2) pharmacy residency training. Residents will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and utilize medical informatics to improve and optimize the medication use process. Program Curriculum and Rotations A.
