Posted: 09-Aug-21 Location: Pinehurst, North Carolina The FirstHealth of the Carolinas PGY1 pharmacy residency program builds on Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) education and outcomes to contribute to the development of clinical pharmacists responsible for medication-related care of patients with a wide range of conditions, eligible for board certification, and eligible for postgraduate year two (PGY2) pharmacy residency training.
FirstHealth of the Carolinas is a private, non-governmental, not-for-profit health care network located in Pinehurst, N.C. The system serves 15 counties in the mid-Carolinas and is licensed for three hospitals with a total of 559 beds. Moore Regional Hospital, the organization’s flagship hospital, provides all major medical and surgical specialties and numerous subspecialties, including cardiology, oncology, orthopedics, open-heart surgery, neurosurgery, bariatric surgery and neonatology.
