Lowell General Hospital's PGY-1 Pharmacy Practice Residency trains the next generation of pharmacy practice leaders. Throughout the year our residents will be challenged to build upon previous knowledge while gaining experience caring for patients with various medical conditions. Core learning experiences include Internal Medicine, Critical Care Medicine, Hematology/Oncology, Transitions of Care, and Management/Operations. Our residents can also choose elective rotations in various specialties including Cardiology, Infectious Diseases, Informatics, Pediatrics, and Advanced Oncology. Our program's affiliation with MCPHS-Boston will provide our residents with a longitudinal teaching experience, both in the class and at the bedside that will earn our residents a teaching certificate upon graduation.
