Our Mission:

Terry Reilly, in the tradition of our founders, is a community health center dedicated to providing affordable, comprehensive health care to everyone in our community to improve health and quality of life.

PGY1 Community-Based Pharmacy Residency Program Purpose:

To build upon the Doctor of Pharmacy education and outcomes to develop community-based pharmacist practitioners with diverse patient care, leadership, and education skills who are eligible to pursue advanced training opportunities including postgraduate year two residencies and professional certifications.

Our program offers residents opportunities to work in a patient centric environment. Our program emphasizes disease state management, community pharmacy practice and management, advanced pharmacy management, medication therapy management, and transitions of care in an interdisciplinary family of practice settings. Residents work with primary care providers, nurses, medical assistants, behavior health and lab personnel. 

Residents will develop and present a quality improvement project and business plan project. Funding will be provided to help residents attend regional and national pharmacy conferences. 

Residents will also have opportunities to participate in academic programming with state associations and the local college of pharmacy. Weekly forum meetings with other pharmacy residents allows one to earn a teaching certificate through Idaho State University. 

• Graduate from an ACPE accredited school of pharmacy
• Academic transcripts submitted
• Letter of intent submitted
• Three (3) letters of recommendation submitted through PhorCAS
• CV submitted through PhorCAS
• Must meet all of the requirements to qualify for licensure in the State of Idaho
